Light in a new precision

A novel form of lighting: The Nivo® luminaire series offers high-precision illumination with a clearly defined homogeneous beam angle and a gently tapering light cone, free from scattered light, artificial anomalies, and featuring a gently fading edge. The key to this innovation lies in an advanced high-tech hybrid lens, which serves as the light-shaping core. Precisely calculated micro facets redirect the light before they exit, ensuring homogeneous light distribution. This results in a pleasing, glare-free light with natural shadows.

Lens technology

A perfect synergy of high-tech and design, developed in collaboration with the Austrian lighting pioneers Bartenbach. Inside the lens are precisely calculated micro-facets: they shape and define the light beam, ensuring a homogeneous light distribution. This creates a pleasant, glare-free light with natural shadows. The light beam impresses with its exceptional quality – free from undesirable gradations, halos, fragments, or streaks. At the edge, the light beam softly cuts off.

Fascinatingly multifaceted

The lens is made from optical polycarbonate – a material with high transmission for precise light control and high efficiency. It features a large light emission area, enabling particularly glare-free illumination. There is a choice between the two half peak values of 36° and 50°.

Micro-facets

Precisely calculated light distribution

The micro-facets inside the lens redirect the light rays, ensuring uniform light distribution. This creates a pleasant, glare-free light with natural shadows.

Smart light positioningWith the adjustable spotlights and the table lamp, the lens module can be tilted up to 45° thanks to the asymmetric suspension in the module insert. Additionally, the module insert is rotatable by up to 360°. This allows for precise adjustment of the light focus in terms of direction and angle over a wide range.

Two half peak values

Aesthetically and functionally, the two half peak values of 36° and 50° offer many possibilities: A half peak of 50° is suitable for illuminating large areas uniformly. Multiple luminaires with a half peak of 36° allow for clear differentiation between light and dark zones.

Dim the light as you're accustomed to

The integrated LED module automatically changes its colour temperature from 3000 to 1800 Kelvin when dimmed, ensuring that the light becomes warmer and cozier without losing its brilliance – just like one would expect from traditional incandescent bulbs.

The surface-mounted variants can be easily installed on existing ceilings with just a few steps: The connection module is screwed onto the ceiling and connected to the 230 V power supply.

The recessed variants can be easily installed into ceiling cutouts and secured using spring clips with just a few steps. A corresponding LED
driver is included.

In new construction or renovation projects, the recessed variants can also be installed flush with the ceiling. For this purpose, a separate plaster ring is installed in the ceiling and plastered over. The recessed luminaire or the junction box of the recessed pendant luminaire is flush with the ceiling.

The luminaire head is connected to the connection module using plug connectors, inserted, and securely fastened by a twist.

There is a marking on the inside of the connection module and the luminaire head that indicates the position at which the parts should be assembled together.

By pressing on the inner insert and simultaneously rotating it to the right, the luminaire head is securely fastened.

Connect surface-mounted lights directly or via a connecting rail

If multiple ceiling or pendant lights need to be mounted directly side by side, a connecting piece is available for the surface-mounted variants, which fixes the lights end-to-end and allows for easy through-wiring. If multiple ceiling or pendant lights need to be spaced apart, through-wiring is easily achieved using a connecting rail in the surface-mounted variants. The connecting cables are already integrated into the rails and are firmly connected to the luminaires. Three different rail lengths are available.
